Nitromors Lightning Paint Stripper is a specially designed, safer solution for removing paint and coatings. It is effective on a wide range of surfaces, including wood, metal, and automotive 2K paints, as well as lacquers. The formula is fast-acting, efficient, and easy to apply. Its thick gel consistency ensures it clings to vertical surfaces like doors and radiators, making it ideal for tackling tricky areas. With a low odour and being free of dichloromethane, this product is a more pleasant alternative for your paint-stripping needs.
Preparation:
- Always wear suitable protective gloves and goggles for safety.
- Protect surrounding areas and items that do not require stripping by covering them with a polythene sheet.
- Store the product in a cool, dry place when not in use.
How to Use:
1. Application: Pour the Nitromors Lightning Paint Stripper into a plastic container. Using a synthetic or bristle brush, apply a generous layer of the product to the surface you want to strip. Ensure you apply about 1/2 litre per square metre. Be sure to keep the treated area away from children and pets.
2. Wait Time: Allow the product to work for approximately 2 hours. For multiple layers of paint, you may need to leave it to react overnight for best results.
3. Scraping: Once the paint has blistered and the stripper has penetrated the surface, scrape off the softened paint to leave the surface clean.
4. Cleaning: After scraping, rub down the stripped area with a scrubbing brush or wire wool and water to remove any remaining residue.
5. Rinse & Dry: Rinse the stripped area with water and allow it to dry. Store the product in an upright position when not in use.
